Ron Paul fans sponsor NASCAR car ad

Some supporters of Ron Paul are raising money to put his name as an ad on 2 NASCAR cars in the 2008 season. It will cost 300,000 dollars in total, and will buy:

"1) Access to the national and local media via the sports desk--not the news desk--every week from this weekend, through the summer, through the Convention, and up until Election Day. Nearly 40 total weeks of coverage valued at millions of dollars.

2)An average TV audience of TWO MILLION people for each race will hear mentions of Ron Paul's sponsorship of two different vehicles. (This totals 75 MILLION viewers per season)."

The entire plan is detailed at RonPaulRacing.com. Here is NASCAR driver Kenny Wallace talking about why he is doing this for Ron Paul - "I have listened to his economic strategy and I'd like to support him. He is like a breath of fresh air".

There is also a good interview with their Communications Director Kathleen Hanover, originally aired on Ron Paul Revolution Radio.
